About the role
The School Partnership Officer is responsible for building, developing, and maintaining strategic partnerships with schools (elementary, middle, and high schools) in Yogyakarta and nationally. This role bridges Neon Bit and Neon Uji products with the education ecosystem through consultative selling, direct field visits, product presentations, and ongoing support for partner schools. In the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, which now integrates Coding and Artificial Intelligence as part of the national curriculum, this position plays a strategic role in helping schools adopt relevant, high-quality educational technology.
What you'll do
A. New Partnership Development
Map and identify target schools based on market research, considering school type (public/private), curriculum used, digital infrastructure availability, and potential need for Neon Bit and Neon Uji
Conduct outreach through direct visits (door-to-door), phone calls, email, and WhatsApp to key school stakeholders: Principals, Vice Principals for Curriculum, and Informatics Teachers
Prepare and deliver product presentations and demos tailored to the specific needs of each school
Develop cooperation proposals, negotiate MoUs/contracts, and secure deal closings
B. Partner School Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all partner schools
Conduct regular visits to ensure product satisfaction and adoption by teachers and students
Gather feedback from teachers and school management for product improvement
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities between Neon Bit and Neon Uji
Manage contract renewal and extension processes
C. Teacher Support and Training
Organize workshops and training sessions on the use of Neon Bit and Neon Uji for teachers
Help teachers integrate products into teaching and learning activities aligned with the curriculum
Participate in educational events (seminars, webinars, open classes) at partner schools
D. Reporting and Analysis
Record all sales activities and visits in a spreadsheet on a daily basis
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on pipeline, conversion, and revenue
Provide market intelligence (competitors, trends, feedback) to the management team
E. Internal Collaboration
Coordinate with the Campaign Strategist and Marketing Manager on campaigns and promotional materials for schools
Collaborate with the Product/Development team to relay feedback from schools
Work with the Content team to align materials with the curriculum needs of target schools
What we're looking for
A. Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum D3/S1 (Associate's/Bachelor's degree) from any field (preference given to Education, Business, Marketing, Communications, or Information Technology)
Minimum 1 (one) year of experience in sales, marketing, education, or community engagement
Strong presentation and communication skills across diverse audiences
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Docs)
Holds a motorcycle license (SIM C) and owns a two-wheeled vehicle
Willing to conduct high-intensity field work and business travel
Fluent in Indonesian
What You Will Bring
Experience in the EdTech, education, or B2B sales industry
Understanding of the Indonesian education system and the Merdeka Curriculum
Ability to speak Javanese (particularly for placement in the Yogyakarta area)
Existing network or connections within the educator and/or school community
Passive English proficiency (coding terminology is English-based)
