The Project Officer at Vortex will assist the Project/Product Manager in coordinating software development projects, ensuring smooth workflows between developers, designers, QA, and stakeholders. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, tech-savvy, and eager to grow in the digital product space. You’ll be involved in daily operations of the product team, manage documentation, and track timelines in a software house environment.

The Project Officer at Vortex will assist the Project/Product Manager in coordinating software development projects, ensuring smooth workflows between developers, designers, QA, and stakeholders. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, tech-savvy, and eager to grow in the digital product space. You’ll be involved in daily operations of the product team, manage documentation, and track timelines in a software house environment.

What you'll do

  • Support the Project/Product Manager in organizing and tracking product development tasks and sprints

  • Help manage project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across tech, design, and QA teams

  • Perform daily coordination: scheduling standups, documenting meetings, tracking tasks, and flagging blockers

  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation including task boards, sprint logs, product specs, and meeting notes

  • Assist in QA coordination, issue tracking, and documentation of testing results

  • Ensure the organization of product-related documentation in shared digital spaces (e.g., Notion, Google Drive)

  • Communicate with internal teams to follow up progress, ensure alignment, and gather updates

  • Contribute to improving project workflows and ensuring product processes are followed consistently
