About the role

What you'll do

As a Coding Mentor/Tutor, you will be crucial in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and creating comprehensive learning materials, including SOPs, syllabi, lesson plans, modules, and handbooks.
Teaching and guiding students in interactive coding classes focused on visual programming and game development, both online and offline, following established SOPs.
Monitoring and overseeing the execution of regular classes (online & offline), trial classes, and community educational events.
Preparing detailed learning reports and tracking student progress.
Providing constructive feedback on student assignments and projects.
Conducting consultation sessions with parents/guardians to discuss student development.
Actively participating in the preparation and execution of trial classes, including involvement in educational promotional events.
Collaborating closely with the education and operational teams to refine materials and improve delivery methods.

Minimum Diploma (D3) degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong interest and ability to utilize AI tools for various learning models.
Solid knowledge of digital literacy and digital ethics.
Practical and educational mastery of basic web programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python).
Proven ability or experience in teaching coding/AI classes (experience with children and teenagers is a significant plus).
Capable of guiding students in creating simple web projects.
Understanding of visual programming applications like Scratch & Scratch Jr.
Familiarity with game development using Roblox Studio & Lua (a strong plus).
Ready to work on-site in Yogyakarta.
