About the role
The Copywriter & Content Writer is responsible for crafting compelling, persuasive, and on-brand written content across all marketing touchpoints. This role covers the full spectrum of marketing copy — from performance ad headlines and landing page copy, to long-form blog articles, email newsletters, and social media captions. The ideal candidate is a versatile writer who can shift seamlessly between promotional, educational, and conversational tones, with a strong grasp of audience psychology and conversion-oriented writing.
What you'll do
Performance & Advertising Copy
Write ad copy for Google Ads (search headlines & descriptions), Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and other paid channels.
Craft compelling hooks, CTAs, and value propositions that drive clicks and conversions.
Conduct copy A/B testing and iterate based on performance data provided by the SEO & SEM Officer.
Website & Landing Page Copy
Write and update copy for website pages, product landing pages, and promotional microsites.
Ensure website copy is SEO-friendly (keyword integration, readability, structured headings) in alignment with the SEO strategy.
Long-Form Content & Blog
Research and write long-form blog articles (800–2,000 words) targeting defined SEO keywords.
Produce educational and thought leadership content aligned with the EdTech brand positioning.
Social Media & Short-Form Copy
Write captions, scripts, and copy for all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
Adapt tone and style per platform — conversational for TikTok/Instagram, professional for LinkedIn.
Email & Nurture Copy
Draft email marketing copy including subject lines, preview text, body copy, and CTAs.
Write drip and nurture email sequences tailored to different audience lifecycle stages.
Brand Voice & Editorial Standards
Maintain and evolve the brand's tone of voice guide in collaboration with the Content Marketing Officer.
Proofread and edit content produced by other team members before publication.
What we're looking for
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Indonesian Literature, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of professional writing experience in a marketing, agency, media, or editorial context.
A writing portfolio demonstrating range across short-form copy, long-form content, and ad copy (personal projects or organisational experience accepted).
Excellent command of Bahasa Indonesia writing — grammar, tone, clarity, and persuasion.
English writing proficiency is a strong advantage (for bilingual or English-language content).
Basic understanding of SEO writing principles (keyword integration, readability, meta copy) is preferred.
Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress or equivalent).
Interest or background in education, EdTech, or digital product industries is preferred.
What You Will Bring
Strong attention to detail and a meticulous editorial eye.
Ability to research unfamiliar topics quickly and write with authority and confidence.
Adaptable writing style — able to shift seamlessly between promotional, educational, and conversational tones across different platforms.
Collaborative and open to feedback, with the ability to manage multiple writing briefs simultaneously without compromising quality.
Self-driven with a genuine passion for writing and storytelling in the education and digital space.
